Shur-Gro Farm Services and Munro Farm Supplies is an independent agricultural input retailer. We supply crop nutrition and protection products as well as custom application and consulting services to our customers. We have eleven locations in Manitoba and we are looking to add exceptional people to our agronomy staff. This position offers an excellent opportunity for the applicant to gain experience in numerous aspects of the agriculture industry. The applicant will get to interact on a first hand basis with both growers and industry representatives. Experience is an asset, but not required. Our success depends on the quality of our people. Key areas of Duties:
- Be the primary liaison between the customer and Shur-Gro and Munro.
- Develop strong business relationships with our farm customers based on sound agronomy and customer service.
- Consult with growers on all aspects of crop production including crop rotations, herbicide use, variety selections and fertility management.
- Evaluate and implement fertility and integrated pest management programs with the grower
- Conduct field diagnosis of crop health issues including weeds, insects, diseases and nutrient deficiencies.
- Give recommendations on the proper use of crop input products to address agronomic concerns of farm customers.
- Consistently develop knowledge of new products in chemical, fertilizer, and seed technologies.

Shur-Gro Farm Services Ltd. is an independent full service crop inputs retailer with locations throughout western Manitoba is offering a challenge to a self-motivated energetic person to join our team in Brandon, Manitoba.
Shur-Gro Farm Services Ltd. is offering a Branch Manager position to a person that combines an agronomic background with strong interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the operation of a successful retail outlet including sales and support of crop inputs including Seed, Fertilizer and Crop Protection products, while providing exceptional service to a growing customer base.
Preference will be given to applicants with a diploma or degree related to Agribusiness or Agronomy or like experience in a retail Ag business. Strong interpersonal skills and a good work ethic would make you a leading candidate for this position. Designation as a Professional Agrologist or Certified Crop Advisor will be an asset
